Trent Josiah Huizar is a 22-year-old author and filmmaker from Arizona, USA. He has taught himself over a dozen languages including fluent Russian, German, French, Spanish, and conversational Persian, Mandarin Italian, Georgian, and Turkish. He has been to over fifty-five countries to document endangered languages and the stories behind them. So far, his search for endangered languages has led him to the highlands of Armenia, Egypt, Guatemala, the Russian tundra, and beyond. He documents many of his adventures on his YouTube channel, The Planet Project. Additionally, he writes books about travel, coming-of-age and Christian faith, including The Traveler's Curse and True North.
